Yikes! Last week it was warm and sunny outside. Today it’s cold and rainy. Fall is here and winter is just around the corner. Days like these make me want to stay home with a big bowl of something warm, like extra hot chili.
Can I just brag for a minute? Um, my chili is awesome! It’s super spicy, so it’s extra belly-warming yumminess. I use extra lean ground beef and load it with veggies and beans, which means it’s low in fat and calories but high in fiber and protein. I used the recipe builder in Spark Recipes to get the nutritional info. I had to estimate the number of servings, but it should be about right. FAIR WARNING – This mother is hot! Take out the jalapeno/habanero seeds if you don’t want spicy.
In envision a lot of this chili in the very near future.
